Have you ever wondered how psychics use crystal balls to tell the future? Well it’s really not that mystical when you break it down. The crystal ball is a tool we use to dive into our own subconscious and access the information held there through a practice called “scrying.”
Scrying is the art of gazing into a crystal ball, mirror, flame, smoke or deck of Tarot cards in order to access psychic information. Here are some steps to getting started with this form of divination:
1. Relax and focus on your breathing, in through the nose and out through the mouth. Focus on your breathing until you feel a sense of calm settle over your body.
2. Gaze into the crystal ball, mirror, flame or reflective surface. As a beginner, it will help you to try to visualize a person or angelic being within it. If you have been looking to meet your Spirit Guide or Guides, this is also a way to call them forward.
3. Once you feel focused on the being at the center, ask them a question. Watch what happens as you ask: do you see an image or hear a voice or sound?
4. Thank your visitor for their help. Record your experience in your psychic development journal so you can watch as your gifts expand over time.
